A quarter of a century has passed since September 11, 2001, when the peace of our Nation was shattered by terrorists.
Today, we remember the 2,977 precious lives taken from us, honor the heroes who answered the call, & keep their families in the heart of our Nation.
Above all, we must ensure the memory of 9/11 never fades, but is carried from one generation of Americans to the next.
We will never forget. πΊπΈ
Large water bladder at the top of the hill. Wooden pallets running down the hill surrounded by od green tent canvas with a pipe running down the center. Pipe has holes drilled at regular intervals. Bladder connected to a gas operated in line water heater whose governor was broken. From water heater to pipe with holes. Water pressure is good near the top with the broken governor, but you risk getting second degree burns or freezing. At the end the water trickles out, but at least you see the boiling water coming.
@Arkypatriot Yes, exactly. Around Bentonville were I grew up there were tons of stories. Most of those forgotten now with all the influx of people from out of state.
@historigins@RickHannah55599 I remember that night like it was yesterday. I was at MAG-11 HQ. We listened to the A-6 crew report the identification of the Iraqi evac out of Kuwait along Hwy 80, and shortly thereafter the decision to launch every available fixed wing asset to engage those targets.
