@techspence My issue with idea setups are that they may not be attainable to a number of people. In my opinion please put MFA on at least, only allow approved access and disable any VPN accounts that are not used, don’t let management interface be internet facing if possible.
@techspence Not that I would ever use recall, but this would be one good feature of it. Document all changes I made in the past amount of time. Verify it somehow.
@GeneralGray I think you are most certainly correct. I just find it funny cause what does gambling have to do with the product.
It is however a bit annoying as now the name is everywhere, and not everyone find it funny like me. I’d hate to see this all the time if you do not want to see it
A couple things here.
First time? I have been microwaving these for the past 20 years.
Stake? This one is funny to me. Most likely from the user for some reason. However I can’t get it out of my heading needing to place a bet on how my stomach will feel after eating this.

If I am reading this CoD ban stuff correctly I am dumbfounded. I know an anti cheat must be hard to make, and I would not know where to start. However it has to been very traceable and for it to go on for so long is what confuses me.
@techspence@cyberthreatpov@SecurIT360 Podcasts are initially what led me to finding InfoSec folks on social media which has in turned led me to more podcasts. Plus they help me get some perspectives or idea on things.
@techspence Makes we wonder if some workplaces allow games to be played on the fleet. I have never worked where that would have been possible unless you were a rouge sysadmin.
With an attack surface so big there is so much there, and so many different ways to go.
@techspence Yeah but I think that those actually are helpful and needed due to the cheats. Granted I don’t play much PC games currently and mostly console. However they could be a neat delivery method right into the kernel.
Being a consumer I wonder what I could do to help as well
@Laughing_Mantis Video games are a very big reason I’m in IT and my passion is security. I also love reading about how passionate you are for video games. Do you have any tips on what someone can look into for learning or what they can do to help?
@EricaZelic I might shoot myself in the foot here, but I think that is the Microsoft recommendation. The places I worked are slow to adopting the cloud, and they are small business.
In large orgs I could see that IT managing the groups would be a pain.
@EricaZelic@joaompinto4 @infosecspy In your opinion would you advise people to not allow anyone to create Teams?
In every environment I have worked in IT has always been the ones that have been able to create Teams. It can slow things down, but we don’t get random Teams or Sites showing up.
