Lane Hutson on his Habs teammate Ivan Demidov:
“He’s going to be dangerous, for sure. Just his mentality, the way he works. Just being around him is so fun because it just brings more out of me.”
Cole Caufield sobre a união do time:
“Com certeza, provavelmente um dos grupos mais unidos dos quais já fiz parte. E acho que esses são os momentos pelos quais a gente mais espera. Conversar sobre coisas além do hóquei e compartilhar uma boa refeição.”
Gallagher has another baby on the way this summer as well, so the emotional response is quite natural as there is a lot of life disruptive things going on.
I wish him newfound stability as soon as possible.
Interesting quote from Taylor Hall today talking about the way the #Canes play. He said when he got traded from Chicago, he wasn't in shape enough to handle the amount of skating. He says Rod Brind'Amour's fitness level sets the example.
Expecting Canadiens players to sit at home in mourning instead of enjoying a night out to help with mental recovery after an incredibly gruelling season has nothing to do with professionalism and more to do with performative outrage.
Rock on Caufield & Co.

To all assembled media in Carolina for the Stanley Cup Final:
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman is set to speak at 4:15pm Tuesday. Please use your platform to challenge him on his stance regarding fan response to Carter Hart.
Back in December, Bettman had a press conference in Winnipeg to promote the announcement of an upcoming outdoor game. With Hart having just made his return to the NHL, a reporter asked if the league was offering any guidance for managing fan concerns related to the signing. Bettman said, "People continue to be free to express themselves..."
The Vegas Golden Knights' actions have contradicted that statement.
There have been substantiated reports of fans having signs confiscated at the request of the visiting Golden Knights' security.

These signs had no vulgarity. No disturbing images. No mention of SA or the trial. In the case of one sign confiscated in Philadelphia, it simply encouraged fans to donate to W.O.A.R (Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence), a non-profit rape crisis center. Taking this sign away is not ok, and speaks volumes for the team's stance on sexual violence.
The NHL has stood by as a team has actively silenced fans in opposing buildings. The league needs to answer for this. We have an opportunity to ask Bettman for his explanation. Don't waste it.

#Habs Jakub Dobeš on what he's most proud of this season: "playing til now was probably the best thing because we spent more time together as a team. The GM7 in Buffalo I was pretty much telling the guys I don't care, I just want to move on & hang out with my friends for longer"
"I look at Caufield kind of like I saw Jack Hughes at the 4 Nations versus Jack Hughes at the Olympics. He needed to experience what he went through this year" - @EricEngels#GoHabsGo#thesickpodcast@TonyMarinaro
