@paul__mangione@elonmusk When I think of Dilbert, this particular strip is the one that always immediately comes to mind. I've laughed thinking about it for decades.
RIP Scott.
@Walgreens you keep trying to tell me that the spam advertisement messages are separate than the prescription messages.
Why does opting out of the spam also opt me out of all prescription notifications?
Again, stop abusing your prescription messages to send spam advertisements
@Walgreens Your system calls these advertisements “health alerts” and I’m sure that’s how the company justifies it. But it’s just an advertisement that I can’t stop without stopping all text alerts.
@Walgreens Stop sending me advertisements from the same text messaging service you use to send me legit prescription notifications.
Texting “STOP” stops all messages, including prescription updates.
I shouldn’t have to choose between getting spam texts or getting no messages.
@Walgreens I promise you they are not.
There is no distinction in your system between these spam messages and Rx messages.
They come from the same number. I cannot unsubscribe from one without unsubscribing from both.
It’s a crappy way to shove advertisements in my face.
@Walgreens The problem is that I cannot turn off these spam texts without also turning off ALL texts.
I want to receive texts relevant to my prescriptions. I DON’T want to also receive spam ad texts.
If this isn’t something Walgreens will do, I will be moving to Costco pharmacy.
