shipped something small this weekend

X on a wide screen uses a narrow 600px column

wasting almost 64% of the screen

built a Chrome extension that turns the timeline into a full-screen masonry. scrolls sideways

free, open source. roast it

[Hasnain K. @TheHasnainK]

the hard part: X only renders the posts near your scroll position

to make it scroll sideways I had to lie to its list about where the screen is

thread on that tomorrow

[Hasnain K. @TheHasnainK]

what it does:

- horizontal masonry, scroll sideways
- or vertical, one click
- hides promoted posts
- card width slider
- home feed only, nothing else touched

no API requests. no tracking. nothing leaves your browser

[Hasnain K. @TheHasnainK]

it's open source (MIT). break it, fork it, tell me it's shit:
