And now for something completely different:
The late Terry Jones, of Monty Python fame, has been commemorated with the unveiling of a bronze statue in his home town of Colwyn Bay, Wales.
The depiction of Terry as the 'nude organist' a recurring character created by Jones for Python, was unveiled by fellow Python's, Sir Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam in a fun day at Colwyn Bay.
Created in bronze by Llandudno sculptor Nick Elphick, the work is typically in keeping with Terry's 'cheeky' and surreal sense of the world.
Sir Michael said: "It's a great tribute. I know it's a bit silly to have a statue of a comedian, but knowing it's something Terry would like, a subversive statue, I'm quite pleased about that.
Gilliam added, "We can all fondle his bum, even in death"...
What's the Hawklords connection to all of this?
Terry Jones gave Jerry Richards his first job working in movies for the 1995 film adaptation of Kenneth Graham's classic story of "The Wind in the Willows", directed by Terry.
Jerry created SFX and music for the film and is forever grateful to Terry Jones and the Redwood Studios team for this opportunity to work in the film business.
Jerry has also worked on 5 or 6 movies for Terry Gilliam, including The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Man Who Killed Don Quxote and Zero Theorem...
Who knew?
