@okktobr @AmelieinTokyo @HakataQueen For my stay in the hospital (non-C-section) it was about ¥100,000. The government payed the rest. This was a regular stay no complications. Even extra pain meds included.

@samu_koii Hummm… depends on how interactive you are with said side of the family. For my Japanese husband, he rarely interact with my side of the family (since we live here in Japan). He does try when we do connect. But I feel like I do more trying with his family 😂.
