Awesome weekend for the Prems. Beat Eden Roskill in a one-dayer on Saturday: Mayur Masand with 4 wickets and Jeremy Houghton with 78* Then followed it up with back to back T20 wins on Sunday. Some great bowling from AKash, Mayur, Chamal and Anuradha Jayampathi.

Nice work from the middle order to secure a t20 win over North Shore this afternoon. Chasing 147 we made 150 with five balls to spare. #gothehead Now, go @BLACKCAPS #T20

Birkenhead 4th grade's Jasmeet Singh (314) and Parvesh Sethi (125) put on 455 for the 1st wicket v Grafton at the weekend. This is the highest known opening stand in all NZ cricket surpassing 441 by Jack Mills & Hec Gillespie for Eden v University at Auckland in 1924/25.

Great day for the Prems yesterday bowling out Waitakere for 308 (Manny Seidel 4/63, M Patel 2/29). We replied with 429/6 declared with James O’Brien 108 and Akash Christian with a great 140 off 121. #gothehead

[Birkenhead Cricket @TheHeadCricket]

Good fightback from the Prems on Saturday after losing first innings they made sure there was a draw thanks to 136 from Akash Christian and look at that 76 not out off 49 from No 10 batsman!

[Birkenhead Cricket @TheHeadCricket]

Sadly the last 2x4s of the last over took ECB just over the DL rate required so here’s hoping this TORRENTIAL rain stops and we can get back out there but not looking good. ECB were 128/3 chasing 278. 😢

[Birkenhead Cricket @TheHeadCricket]

ECB are 59/3 after 14 chasing BCCX 278. #JeffCroweCup
