This Texas legislative session felt like 140 laps around the track with a kick to public school educators once every few laps. We didn’t get anywhere, everyone is tired, and the public school system and the teachers in it got pummeled.

KCAL's BBQ Team competed @ State & did an amazing job! 🔥

Out of 52 teams, one team took 5th in dessert & Pork Chop, the other took 3rd in dessert. Both teams qualified for Nationals!

KCAL's BBQ Team competed against 18 other teams in Granbury last weekend with National High School BBQ. They won 3rd in Dessert, 3rd in Pork Ribs, & 5th in Skirt Steak Street Tacos. Way to go!

Zac Fusilier, CTE Advisory Board Member with North Texas Contracting Inc, showed up to a BBQ Team meeting & wrote a $10,000 check, along with a smoker donation, & will return to lend his expertise to that group!
