Superstring theory, parallel worlds, hyperspace, and wormholes? I'm practically the Avatar of astronomy.

[Giovanni Cassini @Giovanni_Cassi]

My third law is way too complicated for you simple-minded dimwits to comprehend.

"The undevout astronomer must be mad."- Sir William Herschel

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

C- I was the first girl to receive a honorary membership into the Royal Society. Dang, I must be pretty smart!

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

C- I feel so special. I was the first woman to be paid for her contribution to science.:)

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

C- I won the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society!

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

W- I wish I could go back to playing the violin or organ like the old days.

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

W- boy are my hands worn out.:/ I have built more than 400 telescopes.

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

My brother and I work together so good! Our parents would be so proud!

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

How many brother and sisters do you know of that have discovered a planet?
Oh that's right, just us.

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

@TheHerschels I have invented a lens that allows me and others to view far into the sky. Now I can see what I am studying!:)

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

C- I'm so thankful that my brothers convinced my mom to allow me to move, and study astronomy. A woman doesn't only have to do chores!!

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

W- It is very difficult to view far into the sky with the lens that is on the telescope.... I need to be able to see far into the sky.

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

C- I finally finished all my modern mathematical approaches for astronomy and will give them to William

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

[The Herschels @TheHerschels]

My sister Caroline Herschel is now my assistant. Now I can get more work done!! https://t.co/PtJwIPDYUB
