If the sole focus is winning in 2029, there will not be a Britain left to restore. Four more years of this, and we’re buggered. Restore Britain is going to pick issue after issue, have that ratified by the membership, and then we are going to run a targeted campaign.
If members vote against the policy and don’t agree with the outcome? They can sit that campaign out. Free, fair and open debate - exactly how politics should operate. We’re not all going to agree on absolutely everything, and that’s fine.
We’ll have a debate, and then the members will vote. Once that’s complete, and if it’s ratified, we’ll then move on to the campaign.
We have already established our data unit - that is going to be significantly expanded.
We’re going to commission polling, research, policy papers. There will be detail and substance, a proper plan provided on each campaign. Private prosecutions and other legal action will be considered where appropriate.
Social media pressure will be applied, alongside parliamentary activity. We will run petitions, and force debates in Westminster. We’ll support whistleblowers to tell their stories and uncover corruption. Investigative journalists will be deployed to root out the truth.
Experts will be brought in to assist on each area, conduct interviews and raise awareness.
This will all be launched soon, once our membership has developed further.
Is it a different way of doing politics? Yes, it is. But why not try it? Party politics has not served Britain. Let’s try something fresh and new.
To all those who have signed up - thank you. To those who are considering, I hope you can see that we are serious about delivering real change now. Not just in 2029, but today.
I will promise you one thing.
We are going to give it a bloody good go.
I hope you will consider joining and supporting our movement.
@RupertLowe10 Thank you for all that you are doing Rupert to save our Great Country, it is very much appreciated. 🤗
Looking mighty Steamy there Captain Lowe if you don’t mind me saying. 😊
The British people should be unashamedly proud of what we had as a nation, and fiercely optimistic about what we can be once again.
We were great, and we will be great again.
We can, and we must, Restore Britain.
In the coming weeks we will launch our platform where @RestoreBritain_ members will be able to vote on, propose and ratify policies - followed by a campaign of action from the movement.
Direct democracy in action - unique on this scale in Britain.
By the people, for the people.
This is a ridiculous smear campaign. Cromwell was in agony, back legs gone and in immense pain. His life was over. I asked a professional to do the humane act. Rather than waiting for a vet which Cromwell hated, we chose to instantly end his suffering on my farm where the dog felt at home.
How is this news? I’m fairly certain I only confided in Lee Anderson as a ‘friend’ in Parliament - I think we can all figure out where this ‘story’ has come from. Pathetic.
No apologies from me. I’d do the exact same tomorrow if required. I am a farmer. This happens on a farm. I wouldn’t expect Londoners who trap their dogs in a tiny flat for 12 hours a day to understand. They know nothing about life outside the M25, let alone what actually happens on a working farm.
The Mail writes of ‘shock’ from MPs. I will take no lectures on animal welfare from a Parliament that so passionately supports halal slaughter - allowing millions and millions of animals to have their throats slit, and bleed to death in the most unimaginable pain.
THAT is cruelty. Where are the MPs on that? Not a single Reform or Green MP even bothered to turn up to the halal debate in Parliament. My motion on banning non-stun slaughter has only been signed by two Tories, and two Northern Irish.
I make my criticisms of Reform public - they should have the courage to do the same in return, rather than hiding behind anonymous briefings to journalists.
So - in summary, stop using my dead dog in a poor attempt to smear me in the media.
I loved Cromwell. I wanted his end to be as swift, painless and comfortable as possible.
We buried him on the farm, and we all raised a glass to a life well lived over 17 years.
He was a good dog, and I miss him dearly.
Using his memory to attack me is contemptible.
On the MP pay rise, Angela Rayner says administratively it's 'more of a nightmare' to give it back.
I disagree. I donate my entire net MP salary to local charities every month, and the process is very simple.
It's not a 'nightmare' at all - it's very rewarding.
