I know it's a mockable offense when people announce they're leaving Twitter/X, but I just wanted the friends I've made here to know where to find me. I'm Hodey Johns on F*€3b00k.

My posts are heavily repressed, my likes disappear shortly after adding them, and my basic features like Grok and Messages have been disabled. I have not once been notified of anything I did wrong.

More than that, I'm tired of watching the algorithm favor the angriest, most misleading people and posts. I know that every social media app seems to do that to some degree, but I'm certainly not going to pay for it.

The last Twitter regime suppressed me, too. I came back when I thought things would get better. In the end, they got worse.

It's so predictable. Wanna be famous on X? Say something bigoted. Be a libertarian who sells out to the GOP or Dems. Be a Christian who bows to Caesar. Push away people instead of making unity. Repeat whatever the Kremlin is pushing.

Watching the algorithm dogpile on a transgender person who killed themselves while those who put hundreds of hours into a thought-provoking project get nothing is just too frustrating for me.

🚨This is one of the most disturbing videos of ICE abuse I’ve seen.

In Minnesota, ICE agents handcuffed a pregnant woman, forced her onto her stomach, and put their full body weight and knees on her, refusing to let her get up.

In the video, you can hear the crowd screaming over and over that she is pregnant. They plead with the agents to stop. The woman is not resisting, not moving, not a threat. It doesn’t matter. The agents ignore them, continue pointing pepper spray at the crowd, and one agent even shoves a woman backward, assaulting her simply for speaking up.

People keep begging them to let the pregnant woman off her stomach, to stop putting weight on her body. The agents refuse. The crowd grows louder and more desperate, because they are watching someone who could lose her pregnancy, right in front of them, at the hands of ICE agents.

Only after the crowd begins throwing snowballs is the pregnant woman able to get off her stomach.

And then it gets worse.

The ICE agents begin pepper spraying the crowd. One agent drags the pregnant woman by the arm while she is still helpless and restrained. Pepper spray fills the air, hitting bystanders and the pregnant woman herself as she lies on the ground beneath them.

This is not “law enforcement.”
This is cruelty.
This is reckless endangerment.
This is state violence carried out in public, on camera, against a pregnant woman who posed no threat.

If this is what they’re willing to do while being filmed, imagine what happens when no one is watching.

Look, I get it, you might not like choices other people make. I'm drug free myself. But if we're not pro-choice when people make decisions we don't like, then we're not pro-choice at all.

Trump is anti-market and anti-bodily autonomy. Don't join him there.

Maybe go with the angle that Trump is a hypocrite when he virtue signals about the war on drugs? But don't try to out-Republican the Republicans, please, especially not on the drug war.
