Fifth year Gaeilge students demonstrating their understanding of the story Hurlamaboc in a fun, creative way.
Is léir go bhfuil siad ag baint taitnimh as an litríocht agus go bhfuil siad in ann a dtuairmí a nochtadh go lánmhuiníneach. Maith sibh Bliain 5 👏
We need to stop saying that the calcium in m!lk alternatives can be the same as milk. If they're fortified to contain the same amount of calcium, this does not mean it ends up in your glass. In fact, even if you shake the carton like mad, it still doesn't all end up in your glass
As part of our assessment piece during PBL this week, students wrote and presented a short drama showcasing a scenario in which there is conflict and explored how this conflict can be resolved restoratively 👏

Lots of team building activities to start PBL week at GETSS 🎉
Students are grouped according to their houses which will hopefully give them the opportunity to become more familiar with each other’s names, skills, hobbies and personalities 🙂

We are very excited to announce that our application for our first Green Flag was successful 🥳
Guided by our blueprint, this is an area that we are particularly passionate about since opening our doors in 2019 💚

Brown Bread is one of the first recipes I make with first years 🍞
For hour classes:
* Smaller baking tins
* Alter the recipe so it only takes 40 mins in the oven
* Students weigh ingredients the night before
* We use paper liners to save time with wash-up
