Barnsley FC (soft spot for Fulham FC), family, & general all round fairness! New account, I’m back, decided the world needed me, after all🙂 Oh, and cyclist 🚴
@bphillipsonMP There wasn’t a tax break, but there should be - parents educating their children privately means more state funding per pupil in the state sector. What you’ve actually doing is ideological destruction of something you don’t like, there’s no increase in investment per state pupil.
@matthew_elliott Osborne pretty much won it for Leave with his ridiculous warnings - remember the rise in interest rates he also ‘predicted’? In reality his mate Carney cut them. If he’d allowed genuine and reasoned debate, we’d still be in the EU - do you think he knows this?
America is building rockets that can go to Mars and is taking AI to new levels.
Meanwhile, in Britain, our Government is banning underfloor heating and wants to regulate our use of towel rails.
I despair for our future under these student socialist imbeciles.
@FewtonNaulkner@afneil You’re so right - I can’t believe how much I was just charged for a rocket to get me to the moon. I demand subsidised access to reusable chemical rocket engines and orbital ion thrusters.
@ZackPolanski@JamesEFoster They attacked a woman police officer with a sledgehammer, and they live streamed it - they deserved their sentences. Stop trying to justify it.
@Hepworthclare Well that depends on whether the Government genuinely is doing good work, or if it’s creating it’s own particular set of problems (and chaos). Hint, it’s that second choice, and Healey is doing the public a service by calling it out.
This is complete and utter bollocks. Absolute top of the class lying. Untrue. Rubbish. Misinformation. And the fact that @BBCPolitics gave it air time is a disgrace and makes a mockery of their alleged 'journalists.' 43,000 children are no longer in Indy education, 3x the Gov prediction, new Indy schools are NOT opening - tax payer funder special schools are, @Lola__McEvoy has been let down by her party if she believes this tosh. Fact check and retract.
@AndrewHWestern Absolute bollocks - if you’re opting out of state education for your kids, there’s more left to be spent on those who do take up state education. To that end, in your (albeit stupid) way of looking at it - it is a charitable act.
Not taxing something is not a subsidy. This is a fundamental problem with Labour’s world view. They think your money is a common good. If they leave you with some of it, you should thank them. They look at pensions in the same way.
