@Oilfield_Rando I've always hated this chain because it's the only restaurant I've been in that smells like a cardboard factory, but I'm happy to add another reason.
A friend, upon posting this, said, rightly, "Ever notice that the gospel is never their answer?" He is right, of course. This is Christless Nationalism. It can't have the gospel as its power since it is a political movement wearing a religious mask, nothing more. And the amazing thing is, these guys are so benighted they don't realize that without the Spirit sweeping across a nation or a culture, the powers they think they possess can, and will, be used against *them*. One major national election tilting to the left and the "ban Hinduism" mantra becomes the "ban Christianity" mantra and they won't have the slightest ground of complaint. They just don't get that our only hope, and our only power, is the gospel, not the state. Christless Nationalism is a caricature that may well have tragic consequences.
The "social conservatives" were right about everything. We have been right about everything for decades. Literally everything. We told you that if you tolerate euthanasia even for the terminally ill, even for the "extreme cases," very soon it will be used to put down anyone the state deems inconvenient or burdensome. And that is exactly what has happened, just as we said it would.
@AJFCPassalacqua If recent history has taught me anything of progressives it is that they will confidently asset blatant lies as truth.
Could it be true? Yes, but it is nearly never is what they are claiming.
@ORE0N@Fenrirtheicewo1 Every metric these people suggest fixing was objectively worse in the past and born rates were way higher.
You aren't a spending problem or policy change away from fixing the problem. That's so stinking obvious.
People who purposely decide not to have children are necessarily burdens to a society because they will rely upon other people’s children to run society when they themselves are older. Not even through benefits but just basic social functioning like nurses, doctors, farmers, police, construction workers etc. these are jobs which will be taken on by the children of a generation they did not contribute to raising. Every generation has to make the sacrifices of parenting in order to people the society of the future for it to keep running. The purposely childless are implicitly saying they don’t mind profiting off the parenting sacrifices of others.
@Blutman27 Or, hear me out, maybe his team leaked it to put pressure on Auburn for more money. Arkansas is really good at getting other coaches raises.
“Carrying U.S. currency isn’t a crime, but it’s possible we’ll steal it from you, and then we’ll flip the burden so that you have to prove it wasn’t connected to criminality.”
This is simply legalized theft.
Uphold the Fourth and Fifth Amendments.
End civil asset forfeiture.

@chrrybbydoll@CatsandDogsmem@InternetH0F He's being ironic. It's 1995 and he is asking Gates if he knows anything about the Internet. Gates, and the Internet, are extremely well known topics at this time.
It would be like if a host asked Elon Musk if he knows anything about electric cars.
