i think the takeaway here should be that we should be extremely happy that the two highest grossing live action original films of the entire decade are critically acclaimed horror films
both absolutely killing their debut film performances and both being one of the biggest oscar snubs in history and still both made sure they were serving at that ceremony
Hey Oscars producers, if you have time for a lengthy Bridesmaids bit and dumb filler presenter intros, you have time to let the winners give their thanks. It’s the best part of the show. Cutting off the mic after one person speaks (esp that Golden speech) is so, so cold. #oscars
amy madigan was good in weapons but it's still hard for me to believe this was the horror performance the academy was rallying for. toni collette in hereditary and lupita nyong'o in us were much more oscar worthy acting wise yet both got paid dust.
i think misty copeland, one of the most legendary athletes of all time, did this (after a hip replacement mind u) bc she wanted to support the message of this song and moment in SINNERS.
Why are trump supporters getting so mad that we say that we hope everything that they voted for happens to them? Why is that a threat? YOU VOTED FOR IT WHY ARE YOU MAD? I hope everything that you voted for happens to you PERSONALLY. Why you mad boo?
Obsessed with this guy on the US men's gymnastics team who's only job is pommel horse, so he just sits there until he's activated like a sleeper agent, whips off his glasses like Clark Kent and does a pommel horse routine that helps deliver the team its first medal in 16 years.
"THE GRANDSTANDS THAT HE SAW BUILD AS A KID GROWING UP NOW RISE FOR HIM"
just listen to this narration. couldn't be more emotional.

that excited “lisan al gaib” stilgar drops after paul defeats that fucked up harkonnen son is still one of the funniest line reads i’ve ever witnessed, no matter how many times i see a clip of that it never fails to kill me
