@creativesenseiw Yes! I loved my childhood. Always outside and always playing something different, which is why I'm so thankful I grew up before the internet exploded.
Today, it takes a lot more mindfulness and planning to get kids interested in outdoor activities.
@JonnyRoot_ C.S. Lewis isn't alive and wasn't a minister, but I'd have him on that list. :)
He's one reason I became interested in writing. I just love his story.
@thedanielaros Great post. So true.
It's never about "needing more information." Kind of like losing weight. People know what they need to do, it's changing small little daily habits.
In storytelling, it's taking action. Telling a story, receiving feedback, making tweaks, and re-telling.
@thewriterjulia @ship30for30 Couldn't agree more.
Community makes all the difference. I've mostly ignored social media but realized I can make what I want of it.
And even though I'm only a few days into Ship 30, I know this is the right community and the right place for me to accomplish my goals.
@TonyTravkin To spend more hours running, hiking, cycling, and just being outdoors.
In my 20s I could run 20-30 miles, sleep three hours, and work all on the same day.
Now I need sleep and not able to get out like I want.
Unless I live in a Van. Which I've considered.
