Patience, automated. I built an AI bot stalks NQ futures all day, pings when a setup is real. Entry. Stop. Target. We do the waiting — you take the trade.
Smart traders don't lose to the market. They lose to the wait.
The click takes 2 seconds. Knowing WHEN takes all day, every day, without blinking.
So I built a trader with no impulse. It stalks the level, sits through the chop, and pings once — entry, stop, target — when the setup is real.
We do the waiting. You take the trade.
@Mmasi___1@CandyTheTrader It’s not a pattern that I have after. It’s the behavior and narrative. You can see liquid swept and iFVG formed and closed below that iFVG. And price was loving fast so high probability of a run. Doesn’t have to be perfect entry.
@ICT_Concepts Another super important one is Friction > will power.
If you met your goals for the day, turn off the chart, log off your broker, leave your desk. Instead of trying to fight the urge and greed by sitting there looking to see if anything good comes along 👉 over trading occurs.
@_devJNS That was me before I found trading….and then I found trading and then it was dead and then hell and then clawing my way out of rock bottom and then blue sky. 😂 trading is definitely not for the masses. Only for a few.
@SucceedThink Totally agreed! I used to dread Sunday night and Monday morning but now I can’t wait for futures to open. 😁 I get to enjoy the weekend knowing an exciting week is coming. Not enjoy the weekend and depress on Monday.
The character shift is measurable on NQ too — overnight follow-through flipped this month. Since May, big Globex moves kept extending; two weeks ago they started snapping back instead. First exhaustion reading on our meter all summer. Next week's longs need a different playbook than June's.
@QueenTea__ We audited this on our own bot last month: the setups its gates declined ran negative, the ones it took ran +20pts each. Same charts, same tape. The setup being there is the entire edge — everything after that is donation.
@BrkoutGeek The scary part: you can't feel the switch happen in real time. It announces itself two losses later. We ended up giving the "follow the plan" job to a machine specifically so the "make money" voice can't outvote it at 10:47am.
@Kelvintalent_ Impatience is the only form of edge decay you fully control. Strategies rot, regimes flip, spreads widen — none of that asks your opinion. Whether you take the 11am garbage trade does.
@katsinawafx And the part nobody budgets for: the guy who shows up after two red trades is not the guy who did the backtesting. Build the system for that guy. He's the one trading it.
@DionTrades_ This line is the whole game. We went one further and started logging the trades we WANTED to take but didn't — then score them against the tape later. Most turn out losers. Memory is a terrible journalist.
@t0mbfx The twist is the skill that takes years isn't reading charts. It's doing nothing for six hours without negotiating with yourself. Nobody gets into trading because they want to sit still — that's why almost nobody makes it.
@EliteOptions2 Testimony: 👉 I’ve failed for 5 years and only become profitable since year 6th. Loss a small fortune but starting to get it back quickly. I’ve built a system that allowed me to be off screen and still able to make money. Never give up🔥‼️‼️‼️
