In court today, Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi (@DrAMSinghvi) pulled back the curtain on how power is being misused.

The law is clear: The ED must inform local police BEFORE entering any premises.
But during the I-PAC raid, reality told another story.

ED walked in at 6:45 AM.
Local police were informed only at 11:30 AM.

After 6 years of silence, there was suddenly “URGENCY”, yet no urgency to follow the law.

This isn’t about investigation.
It’s about intimidation.
Not due to the process, but POLITICAL TARGETING.

When rules are bent for convenience and agencies act first, explain later, democracy itself comes under search.
