Exclusive: British and Chinese security officials have established a new forum to discuss cyber attacks, Bloomberg can reveal.

An agreement between London and Beijing, which has not been made public, has forged a new “Cyber Dialogue” for security officials with the aim of managing threats to each other’s national security, according to people familiar with the matter.

The deal can be revealed as Keir Starmer is set to approve China’s new embassy in London today.

It is designed to improve communication, allow private discussion of deterrence measures and help prevent escalation, they said.

It means that for the first time there is a single mechanism for the UK and China to discuss cyber incidents at a senior level, whereas previously lines of communication were often difficult to set up, they added.

They said they believed the forum was the first of its kind between China and any country, arguing it was an important step in improving diplomatic ties between the two nations.

The new forum, while unlikely to stop China’s cyber campaign, may at least provide an opportunity to help mitigate the dangers of miscalculation, the people said.

US Special Forces just took over a Russian ‘shadow fleet’ ship called the Marinera.

This would be a HUGE deal in any situation because obviously it’s the US vs Russia.

But to make the story crazier…there’s rumors that the ship is not full of oil…rather weapons that Russia sent Venezuela to fight the US.

That’s why Russia sent warships and a massive submarine to the ship when it saw the US coming after it.

Currently the ship is being taken to the UK for inspection.

This could become a big deal…
