@MillThat Here's hoping that all get carried out on most of those. I think @SaffronOlive and others are wrong about the EDH ban list. A lot of what's on there are engines for really repetitive value things that are simultaneously easy to deploy and hard to interact with.

Willing to die on the hill that many, not all, but many EDH players out there aren't well served by that Sol Ring in your list because either:
- you haven't built the list to really capitalize on early acceleration
- the extra {2} generic doesn't map onto the costs you're paying

Seeing takes about Sol Ring not getting banned, despite being quite powerful and ubiquitous in the format. Mana Crypt was better, faster Sol Ring with no downside, so if Sol Ring could ever be considered on its own merit for a ban, then Mana Crypt has to make the grade.
