Christopher Bell suffered the hardest crash impact of the Next Gen era of NASCAR per Mike Forde (NASCAR VP of racing comms) on Hauler Talk.
"Delta-v is the measure of speed lost in an incident. I can’t give out the Delta-v number for Bell. That data is proprietary in a way. We share that with the team and the driver, and that’s their data to do with what they want.
"But we can confirm that it was the largest number we’ve seen in the Next Gen era.”

I’m at big reds, my favorite burger joint ($25 burger for $10) and I just heard ‘Not In Love’ by Crystal Castles remix with Robert Smith ?! No idea that existed
Thank you, everyone, for the well wishes, support, & love for my brother and our family. I reflect back on the days Kyle and I raced anything we could get our hands on.
I will forever be grateful for the memories we made, the lessons you taught me, and the brotherhood we shared.
🚨In-car view of the accident involving Christopher Bell at Michigan. The impact was so violent that it broke a portion of the safer barrier. He sustained wrist and ankle injuries.
The NASCAR family is saddened by the loss of Ned Jarrett, a NASCAR Hall of Famer, two-time Cup Series champion and one of our sport's greatest ambassadors.
We extend our deepest condolences.
Back from the dead 💀
