Today I thought about my career in the mental health field. 10 years ago, I was just a young man who wanted to change the world. I like to believe in my 10 years of service that I have and will continue to do so more effectively. I hope I never lose my enthusiasm and passion.
Despite much negativity surrounding this world, I enjoy a lot of things this world has to offer. However, puting a person experiencing homelessness in a home is one of the things I enjoy the most.
Often times when I write, I like to think the entire world is hearing my voice and I am changing the world with unmatched wit and intelligence. In reality, I've found I made the most positive difference when I go to work to actively help others. Makes me respect the silent helper
One of the scariest things about the internet is one can find anything to reinforce one's delusional thoughts as well as like company, solidifying those thoughts into delusional beliefs. One can even go online to find new delusional beliefs when the old ones stop "making sense."
One of the most advantageous things about being alive is the ability to continue grow and change. Since we never are who we were, we shouldn't be so quick to cancel others. It's limiting to humanity. We can always critique, dislike and disagree without taking someones humanity.
As a person who works as an emergency mental health worker for those who are dealing with chronic homelessness, mental health and medical concerns, I am perplexed knowing there are people who refuse to wear a mask. Its offensive to us who are risking our lives to serve others
The "Trump method" in regards to losing seems delusional. Imagine a world where if anyone loses in anything, one didn't have to accept the third party perspective or learn from their defeats. They could just say "well I actually won, everyone else is a bunch of cheaters".
Not all opinions are equal, that's why we have specialist who do what they do. Its interesting how some people actively make choices to not believe in facts and think their opinions are just relevant.
