I finished Animal Well! No guides, no hints, no tips, no cheats - haven't even read a review - just 10 hours of persistence, so I am super proud! Great little game too. I love that it tells you absolutely nothing, but exploring and discovering for yourself is so much fun.

@Genesis8012 Isn't "imposed stuff" just the nature of art, though? Creators impose on consumers. I didn't get to choose the Mona Lisa's face, or the colour of Darth Vader's lightsaber; I can only enjoy them (or not) as presented.

@schreppybroepke @Genesis8012 A lot of these films/games/shows don't *claim* any historical accuracy anyway, so it shouldn't matter what colour/gender the humans are. I didn't get upset when the "Prince of Persia" was Jake Gyllenhaal, and I won't be upset when a viking is black, white, or a fucking robot.
