Capitalism is such an inefficient and wasteful system. So much so that roughly a third of the world's food is ultimately discarded before consumed. This amounts to about 1.3 billion tons a year. Meanwhile, billions of people struggle with food insecurity.
Ted Sarandos would come into my old restaurant job all the time for meetings and bullshit. Everyone wanted to serve him because he would always tip $100-$125 on a COMPED bill. This man was eating for free and then throwing pennies in our faces. What an asshole.
People are going to be protesting, appearances will be canceled, productions will be delayed, and I just need y'all to remember strikes are supposed to be disruptive and direct any and all frustration and criticism at the studios where it belongs.

Good. I hope every Hollywood union goes on strike. I hope they move Deadpool 3 back two years and every single film and television project is delayed. Anything if it means workers are paid a fair cut of the profit in the industry - instead of it all going to CEOs and shareholders
At MIT we built an entire course around the fact that billionaires + companies dont innovate, normal people do
We innovate to solve problems we or our communities face, then companies either form around, buy, or steal those innovations and sell them for profit
Re: Jonah Hill’s gross texts: my therapist honestly changed my life when he stopped me from saying someone was “violating my boundaries” and explained that boundaries are values you impose on yourself and your own behavior, not rules you can enforce on other people.
They essentially watched hundreds on people drown and chose not to save them. This shows how people value human life when said life isn't wealthy and white. The search efforts that went into finding 5 millionaires vs. hundreds of brown people is very telling.
