I’m not a gun person. I was raised among leftist gun haters.
So when I first heard about @JohnRLottJr’s book, “More Guns, Less Crime,” I was skeptical.
But he was right. Here he explains why government ignores many examples where guns SAVED people:
@StanSprague@CuseMLAX@Cuse@theACC@NCAALAX I thought it was midfield, but this could be wrong info? “Location Constraints (NCAA): To avoid losing possession, the team in possession must have cleared the ball past the midfield line before calling the timeout, particularly to stop the clock in late-game scenarios”
@vicvanlier17@LacrosseNetwork@CuseMLAX@DukeMLAX This may be wrong, but how I understand/researched the rule “Location Constraints (NCAA): To avoid losing possession, the team in possession must have cleared the ball past the midfield line before calling the timeout, particularly to stop the clock in late-game scenarios.”
@BillKolbens@jbhsndrs@Jmcfall5@RCbeancounter Would have been a more fun game to watch for both fanbases… I don’t think it would have changed the result, but you can’t tell me you enjoyed the ref show over a great game between two teams duking it out
I just looked this up, due to a comment from an Arizona player.
Arizona free throws, through 3 NCAA tournament games, vs the other 3 teams combined.
Rd 1: 33 free throws vs 10 free throws
Rd 2: 39 free throws vs 11 free throws
Rd 3: 39 free throws vs 26 free throws
Arizona in tournament: 111 free throws.
Other 3 teams combined: 48 free throws
Seems reasonable. I guess nobody can play defense without fouling, aside from Arizona.
Arizona has 63 MORE free throws than the other three teams combined. The free throw disparity is greater than the total free throws combined by the opposing 3 teams. Wow.
