“Self-love is the unconditional love & respect that you have for yourself that is so deep, so solid, so unwavering that you choose only situations & relationships - including the one you have with yourself that reflect that same unconditional love & respect.”
- Christine Arylo
Y'all, once again, don't know ball. Bro was rapping into the mic, switching up lyrics, editing all the curses, rapping new bars...
Drake diss aside that was a flawless rap performance that very few can do
I have two separate but related reactions to this post:
1. This is one of the most honest and relatable takes on grief I've ever seen. Because it really is the day-to-day sh*t that fcks you up. And it's just gonna be like this just... until I die, too? That's some bullsh*t.
2. Kevin's ability to get this off, make it funny AND keep it so emotionally poignant with you feeling/seeing his anger/sadness (bc this is "the nerve of you to fcking be dead") is comedic brilliance. Like, Pryor level brilliance. Real talk. It seems simple; it's not.
Every year without fail-
Me:
“dang, yall use Spotify? Maybe I should get it so I can have a wrap thing.”
Then I never download it & wait for the next year to say it all over again.
When you pour your all into something and it doesn’t go the way you planned, it hurts. Caleb Williams has a bright future and this type of emotion is the realest moment of his career yet.
Your lack of discipline and consistency is keeping you from your dreams baby. Time to get focused, ok? I believe in you, but you gotta believe too!! Ok, now go be great!! I love you ❤️
