@LonelyGoomba@The_Hypist@Redfella0115 I played it for the first time last year and it’s…not the best tbh. It’s good because the original is good, but it otherwise has nothing else of substance to offer beyond reusing Dream Team’s graphics and the lackluster Bowser Jr’s Journey mode (I love OG BIS btw).
@LonelyGoomba@SeeingStars2009 Tbh, it’s one of those “everyone’s talking about it and that’s kind of put me off watching it” kind of shows, but I guess I’ll give it a look sometime
@LonelyGoomba@GGalactigal That makes perfect sense. Not to mention that the daytime stages gameplay were done better in both Sonic and Shadow Generations (especially the latter).
As Donkey Kong 64 has been on Nintendo Switch Online for a little over a week, we have to ask: has anyone been playing it for the first time!? Many of us here look back on it fondly, and it's fun to see it being rediscovered (with every Kong individually) all these years later.
@LonelyGoomba It’s still disheartening that even former Rare employees think so, saying “nobody cares about Banjo-Kazooie” despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
