Per a league source, Sacramento Kings general manager Scott Perry met with the family of Houston point guard Kingston Flemings this weekend in San Antonio.
Flemings is expected to be amongst the guards potentially available for the Kings with the 7th pick in the NBA Draft.
Franchise players don’t always go in the first few picks.
Kings will have a lot of good prospects to choose from at 7.
Most likely one of Flemings, Wagler, or Acuff will be there.
Sources: Despite the Kings’ brutal season, and amid league-wide speculation that they might make a coaching change, Doug Christie is safe.

Matt and I were at the game tonight. It was a hard fought win in the backs of the young fellas. Happy for the win glad to see the development. Hoping the ping pong balls land in our favor.
I was not thrilled about this signing due to his low shooting percentage (very low). But KH D and his court vision have been good. But to see his record since joining the team that convinced me it’s not the worst move. 5-5 since joining. Wonder if he gets his FG% & impact for us.
@ShamsCharania Good deal. Very cheap, most likely.
Extra prospect to develop as they shop their vet contracts.
Kings prior: 12-46 (Before the Killian Hayes era)
Kings now: 5-5 (K.H.E.)
