What’s happening in Ukraine isn’t something that suddenly occurred for the 1st time since WW2. It’s been happening in other countries like Yemen, Ethiopia, and Palestine.

My grandparents had to flee, much like the Ukrainians, but under cover of night and it involved my grandfather having to hide in trees just to escape & not be killed as a civilian. They left everything behind.
