Safe, gentle yoga & pilates for bereaved mums, mindfulness, healing therapies & more support for wellbeing after babyloss, as featured on BBC Woman’s Hour.
Go steady. Miscarriage is in the news. You do not need to watch it or read it just because it is validating your truth. Progress is progress, with or without it consuming your day.
@NovaFoundation_@LullabyTrust Ah, this is so kind. Thank you! We are so grateful we’re able to offer this support for anyone who needs it, and still planning improvements and more support too. ❤️
@LullabyTrust That is so good to hear. I am pleased our online yoga might be helping some people right now in particular. Thank you for referring. X We have plans to add a lot more content - different classes of different lengths/focuses etc. We will soon offer even more abs better support ❤️
@TheLegacyOfLeo Hey Jess! I am so sorry. I now teach on a Tuesday evening and sometimes come to this super late. Sorry to miss you all. I hope you’re doing okay, in all the many shitty circumstances xx
@TheLegacyOfLeo Hi Jess! I’m so sorry I missed this conversation - I finished work late. We are over 9 years now. There is life before Lola, and after Lola. The two don’t correspond. They are different worlds. Grief has changed. But is no less enveloping or painful, even if I manage it better.
Next Thursday, 5th November, there will be a Westminster Hall debate on the effect of the COVID-19 outbreak on people experiencing baby loss, led by our Co-Chair Cherilyn Mackrory MP @thisischerilyn. The debate will be available to watch here: https://t.co/g1RlKF23HD
Pls check in on your friends. “I saw the news today, intense. Made me think of you, and {babies names}. I know it’s Awareness Month too, so I wanted to see how you are feeling? Do you have some time off / got anything relaxing planned to balance it all out?” #babyloss#blaw
@mrpeterbyrom@TheLegacyOfLeo I think it is vital to do what’s right for you. What feels right for you cannot be wrong. It’s also likely best for you (most importantly) but also for all, in the long run. Forgetting, forgiving. Each experience is so personal, only you can know what ‘right’ is with each person.
@ARCantenatal Thank you so much! That is so kind! It has taken me 9 years or so to find my bereaved mum voice and bring a little bit of what I needed to the world with Lola’s Project, but it is coming now, & if what we do can ever help to support you and the work you do, please say the word.
It is so sad hearing these stories, but also somehow helpful. We had some horrific experiences with family after Lola was born, some who just disappeared and others (my mum) who came from NZ and then dramatically left for no real reason. It was so hard to understand #BabyLossHour
