Did you know our route passes through 54 unique Townlands?
Our Management Committee are launching a new project, where Townland names will be added to waymarker posts along the route highlighting which local area walkers are currently passing through as they make their journey.
The project has been funded through grant aid from the @DeptRCD, as a once off recognition grant for the significant importance of walking trails have on our local communities.
24 Hour Trail Closure of The Leitrim Way tomorrow. This will effect only instances where the trail crosses private property. Please respect this closure, as it forms part of the long term access agreement with the private landowners.
