$XPON = Massive Moves.
Some interesting higher lows forming.
Usually I'd laugh if someone said a stock needs to double to get above resistance. Except it did that 2 days ago.
$XPON remains completely fucking insane.
The good part? We finally got the paperwork that says, yes, the $4.5 million commitment really is tied to somebody sitting right next to the steering wheel. I like that. A lot.
The bad part? The car has also been going 140 mph, sideways, with one door open.
We're still up about 117% from where this thing was sitting before the circus arrived, so I'm not standing here mourning a 6% Friday. But I sure as hell don't want to confuse “the story isn't broken” with “please give me another helping.”
I bought a ticket for this ride. I don't need to buy another ticket while the roller coaster is upside down.
$XPON is reminding us why this thing is dangerous.
Yesterday it looked like somebody fired it out of a cannon; today most of that extraordinary liquidity vanished and the stock badly underperformed everything around it.
The underlying transformation hasn't failed, and we're still well above where this whole event began, so I'm not calling it broken. But this is now the stock I'm staring at hardest.
$ACDC remembered how to rock Thursday. Friday somebody unplugged the amp.
The insiders have been buying the shit out of this thing while the stock spent most of August lying on the floor staring at the ceiling. Thursday—finally!—14%. Like, ohhhh... maybe those guys weren't insane.
Then Friday gave some of it right back.
That's okay. One good day doesn't make them geniuses and one shitty day doesn't turn Thursday into a hallucination. But now I want to know whether the band is actually back together. Hold around five bucks and take another crack at $5.40–$5.60? Cool. Fall right back into the old hole? Then Thursday was just a really great soundcheck.
$ACDC
This is what we were waiting for.
The insiders had already made an unusually strong statement with their own money, but until today the stock basically said, “yeah, whatever.”
Today it finally answered them.
One 14% day doesn't prove they're right, but ACDC has moved from “why isn't this working?” to “okay, now show me you can hold it.”
$TTMI got clocked Friday, but I'm not convinced it got clocked for being TTMI.
Marvell showed up to the AI party with really good numbers and Wall Street basically said, “Yeah, but where are my fucking unicorns?”—and started throwing semiconductor stocks out the window. TTMI went with them.
Meanwhile TTMI's actual business is growing like hell. AI data-center revenue up 91%. Defense backlog stacked up. Two insiders just bought over a million and a half bucks worth.
So I'm interested. Very interested. But the stock still looks like somebody knocked it down a flight of stairs and it's trying to remember where it parked. Let it stand up first.
$TTMI
The insiders bought into a busted chart, and now the chart is actually repairing.
That's becoming a pretty nice story.
We aren't completely healed yet because TTMI has now reached the chunk of overhead resistance where the real argument gets settled.
Get through the low $130s and this starts looking considerably better.

$KURA
Did exactly what you'd hope today: not fireworks, just quietly outperforming biotech and holding the ground it earned after the CEO buys.
The only persistent annoyance is liquidity. Nothing today makes me more nervous about it.
$KURA
The CEO didn't buy fifty grand so he could make a nice Form 4 headline.
He put about $2.35 million into his own biotech in two bites about a week apart.
That's enough money that I take the behavior seriously, even though KURA is large enough that he's not actually swallowing much of the company
$BMRA
This tiny company needed money, but instead of management standing on the sidelines while somebody else funded it, the CEO and literally the whole board put money into the deal too.
And the whole raise is gigantic compared with what the company was worth—something like forty-five cents of new capital for every dollar of old market value.
The catch is equally gigantic: shareholders are getting diluted by around 30%, so this isn’t free money.
But if I were telling you why BMRA is worth remembering, it’s that everybody in the room apparently agreed to eat their own cooking while recapitalizing a company small enough that the new capital could genuinely change what it is.
$ACDC
A major owner who already has a monster position went out and bought another three million bucks worth in the open market while the stock was beaten up.
