@4WheelWorkOut The same people think disabled kids get educated to their full potentials in public schools because of IDEA laws.
They have no idea that many schools skirt the laws by taking advantage of the parents not knowing the rights.
Public School Districts need to be audited. We need to see exactly how they’re spending their SpEd funds, which is not on their website in detail.
Self policing doesn’t work. Kids lose.
We’ve know for years/decades that direct, explicit, multimodal, structured, sequential instruction, in the hands of an appropriately credentialed teacher, is one (perhaps the most) effective diagnostic tool for dyslexia screening.
Why do people continue to try to reinvent the wheel — to monetize America’s (manufactured) reading crisis? 🤷♀️

and last person who caught my attention told me their son was baker acted then raped while in custody —against parents consent.
