Morgan State University has received a $1.75M grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to develop plans for a public, nonprofit Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program — the first at Maryland’s largest HBCU.

Owned and operated by Morgan, the school will expand opportunities for underrepresented students and help address physician shortages in underserved communities.
