Alabama ICU nurses went above and beyond for a dying patient’s last wish.
Jeannie Guffey, 74, was in Huntsville Hospital’s Medical ICU with terminal lung cancer and about to go home on hospice.
She told her family she wanted to be baptized.
Nurses Erin Powers, Kaitlin Swaim, and Emily Owens used their own money to buy a kiddie pool from Walgreens and had it DoorDashed to the hospital.
They inflated it, fashioned a hose from ventilator tubing, and filled it with warm water from the sink.
Staff then used the room’s ceiling lift to lower her into the pool.
Her son Jody performed the baptism as her husband and family gathered around.
Jeannie went home the next day and passed peacefully a week later.
Her family called it “a total God thing.”

GOD BLESS BAYLEE... At 19, Baylee Laine had a full-ride softball scholarship and a ticket out.
She stayed.
CPS dropped four of her siblings at her door. She fought three parents in court, slept in a paralegal’s office, worked two jobs, and became their foster mom. At 21 she adopted them. She’s 28 now, mom to those four plus her own 3-year-old daughter.
No fame plan. No speech. Just a girl who looked at little kids about to be left alone and said, “If I stay, I’m taking them.”
That’s family. That’s the country at its best.
The ones who don’t walk away.
A golden bun, still warm and light,
A patty sizzling, cooked just right.
Fresh lettuce crisp, a tomato gleam,
That secret sauce like a summer dream.
Onions grilled till sweet and brown,
Cheese that melts and drips on down.
No fancy fuss, no extra show,
Just California flavor, slow.
One bite and you already know:
In-N-Out is the place you want to go.
Simple.
Fresh.
A burger true.
That’s why we keep coming back to you.

The owners of a north Tulsa towing company were sh0t and killed Friday morning during a dispute over a repossessed vehicle, police said.
Mike Moore and his wife, Mary Moore, were fatally sh0t at Mike’s Towing in the 1100 block of North Garnett Road near Pine Street around 11 a.m. Friday.
According to Tulsa police, a group of three people arrived at the business to retrieve a vehicle that had been impounded.
An argument inside the office turned physical.
Investigators said Darius Jones pulled out a gun and pointed it at Mike Moore.
Moore then drew his own weapon.
Jones opened fire, striking both Mike and Mary Moore.
Police said Moore returned fire before collapsing, striking Jones in the arm.
Mary Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mike Moore was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Jones was treated for his gunshot wound, released, and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on two counts of first-degree murder.
The couple leaves behind a 12-year-old daughter they adopted earlier this year.
Their church, Catoosa First Church, has launched a fundraiser to help with funeral expenses and support for the girl.
This is a developing story.
Jones has been charged; he has not been convicted.
TikTok prankster pleads guilty to impersonating corporate bosses
TEMPE, Ariz. TikTok influencer Heston James Cobb, known online as Heston James, pleaded guilty Friday to three counts of criminal impersonation for staging fake “corporate takeover” pranks at Tempe businesses.
Cobb and a group of associates dressed as employees, claimed they were from corporate offices, entered staff-only areas, and refused to leave when asked.
The stunts, filmed between March and July 2025, targeted Chipotle, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube, Big Brand Tire & Service, and Hyland Auto Repair.
In one widely viewed Chipotle video, Cobb wore a company shirt, told staff he was going to “clean house,” and directed others to start “working” while employees called police.
He was arrested in July 2025.
Under the plea deal, remaining charges including burglary, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass will be dismissed at sentencing.
Cobb must remove the videos, stop mentioning the businesses, stay away from the locations, and pay restitution.
Sentencing is set for Oct. 1.
