Hitler ascribed to the “The Shrinking Markets Theory” which was the belief that industrialized nations would eventually face economic decline because the foreign markets they depended on for selling manufactured goods would gradually disappear as less-developed countries industrialized and became self-sufficient.

According to the theory, this process would leave advanced economies with excess production, unemployment, and difficulty obtaining food and raw materials through trade.

The idea gained influence in some imperialist and nationalist circles during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, where it was used to argue for colonies, protected economic blocs, or national self-sufficiency. Modern economists generally regard the theory as flawed because it assumes markets are essentially fixed in size and overlooks how economic growth, innovation, rising incomes, and new industries can create additional demand and new forms of trade.

The more time that passes the more I consider this theory and why Hitler saw it as life/death to seize the vital land and resources or “Grossraum” in order for Europe to survive the post-industrial revolution era.

Europe today is in a very similar situation to what Hitler feared in the future where the west is strangled by the east in order to institute a Marxist revolution and global hegemony of jewry. Consider the routes cut between east/west now and how Europe specifically will be impacted in the scenario that both the Ukraine and Iran war continue for years beyond today. Just a thought.
