@TheUsuli I would advise against suspicion. Pesent evidence or keep what you suspect between you and Allah.
The issue I have with social media da'wah is that these influencers don't lead physical communities and don't encourage their followers to join physical communities.
@1ilikefish @TheUsuli If DH helped you out of Liberalism and Atheism, then you are a late bloomer. Many ppl in the real world were off that a long time before the modern social media da'wah scene.
@ZeekArkham The world is the same. Information about things that don't concern us just spreads too fast and too far.
If we only heard about things that directly impact us, our home, neighborhood, community, and only things we could actually do something about, it wouldn't be overwhelming.
@Mo_E_Aboody @Haqiqatjou Why did you start watching it to begin with? What specifically were you looking to gain? It's not like you clicked on it thinking it was a video of 2 men talking.
@elonmusk Speech is speech. Making up words to demonize certain speech just means you aren't pro free speech.
I can say I hate birds, or I think all birds need to be eradicated. You can tell me why I'm wrong, and even say all bird haters should be eradicated. That's free speech.
@jinxedwitch3 You're just projecting. You may have been immature at 19 (and still at 25), but that's you and your upbringing.
You and the ppl you know aren't the standard for everyone else. A man who would marry a 19yo woman doesn't have to marry one who is like you were at 19.
@RichardSkopnik@MrAndyNgo Exactly. They obviously have groups of some kind that should have been identified in this reporting, but instead, they are labeled African migrants so that they can represent all African migrants instead of whatever specific group they were actually representing.
@AsefawMilkias@sneako The cop being on him for too long was just another factor added to the things that were out of anyone's control and the things that were directly Floyd's fault. His heart couldn't withstand something most of us would easily survive.
@AsefawMilkias@sneako You likely will make the argument that the cardiac arrest happened because of the cop. But it actually happened due to all factors working together. The drugs, Floyd kicking and fighting his way out of the car, begging to be placed on the ground, is age and other heart condition.
@sneako He got what was written for him. He died while high on drugs, immediately after defrauding a store with counterfeit money as he was resisting arrest. A disgraceful death after a life of crime. Shocking to no one. The lesson being, don't do drugs, don't commit crime against others
@sneako When you lack knowledge, you ask the question: Did he deserve to die?
Literally, everyone dies, and Allah chooses how and when. The officer wasn't trying to kill him. Deserve isn't relevant, and only Allah knows what we deserve.
