Many 'Wall Street guys' believe Crypto is a passing fad. I absolutely disagree and would argue large cap coins such as $BTC now correlate with macro risk assets.

Had a chat with a really experienced guy i work with today…

He’s been in professional markets for 39 years in big banks, hedge funds & as a economist.

Their balance sheet makes for scary reading in my opinion & given a majority of coins trade against $USDT and not #FIAT, any company failure could cause the crypto market to implode.

Keep an eye on the $USDT peg…

The #ECB calling an ‘ad-hoc’ & unscheduled meeting & the #FOMC set to raise rates 75bps (some say 1%!).

Really is a tough bear market at the moment.

Just have to ride it into recession and come out the other side!

I do continue to worry about short to medium term funding for $VRA and $SAITO but do like their white papers and concepts a lot.

If they survive what is a pretty brutal market at this moment in time then I do think they are absolute 💎’s.

If we do move lower from here, I feel #BTC decouples from stocks at ~$15k.

While institutional participation has increased substantially in crypto markets over the last 2 years, $15k has repeatedly been the level touted by HF’s & AM’s when asked where #BTC becomes ‘interesting’

A while back I called the mid to low 20’s for #BTC and was somewhat ridiculed.

Macro markets continue to find themselves in serious trouble with a weak #FED.

Unless they move away from from their hawkish tone, don’t rule out $15k!

For those that aspire to trade their own money, I would highly recommend this book.

Not too long, a simple narrative and easy to understand concept detailing a guy trading his way up from $100 to $200mm.

He also taught 23 others to do it very successfully too…

The worry I have is funding…

Do they have enough funding to survive a bear market? (most alts don’t)

If they can survive and you hold these two, it may be 2023 or even 2025 but you’ll be rich on the other side of that trade…

$VRA & $SAITO still remain my two main picks long term.

Price wise, I have no issue stating I believe both minimum $1 long term but…

Whilst you’ll see an ocean of green this morning, continue to be cautious. Remember - we aren’t in a recession yet, stocks haven’t bottomed out and there’s a property bubble just waiting to ‘pop’

I’ve lived through markets like this a few times in my professional career. Brexit / Trump Election Day / Covid to name a few.

Sometimes you need to be at the table and others you just need to sit back and let entropy ensue and be ready to pick up the pieces at the right moment

It’s all too easy to stress about #BTC being smoked but in reality if your portfolio’s in the red, this is the easiest part of the trade.

Run it. The toughest part is picking the exit spot.

There may be a reset coming but ride it, you’ll be absolutely fine long term.

Things are going to get worse in the short term but if $VRA drops below $0.01 buy the f*ckn sh1t out of it.

They have a solid base & concept and #gaming & #eSports are only getting bigger and due for a BIG rally.

It may not seem like it now, but #VRA is a $1 coin.
