Amorim could not win back to back games but ‘was getting United somewhere’ but Carrick is failing and ‘living off of vibes’ because he has 19 points out of a possible 21 and has us back in top three for first time in three years? I’m sorry but this is just ridiculous talk.
I’ve noticed something that honestly baffles me about part of our fanbase.
When a coach starts badly, it’s all about patience, long-term vision, and a so-called “cultural reset.” We’re told to trust the process. But when a coach starts well, suddenly it’s “let’s calm down,” “this isn’t sustainable,” or “wait till teams figure him out.”
It just feels like some people are more comfortable defending failure than embracing success
