The MakerBit allows easy connections from the BBC micro:bit to LEDs & touch sensors. Explore CS through making working models of everyday digital devices.
Thank you everyone who came to check out the students' digital board game projects. Special thanks to Roger Wagner who continues to support the computer science program at LCC! https://t.co/d0NigRQpgh

This is part of a @themakerbit#CS lesson on the engineering design process and the students have progressed to this in just 10 weeks. I can't wait to see the board games!
We are running an autonomous driving challenge in our family. Our @TheMakerBit smart car is using an ultrasonic sensor to detect drivable space and its #microbit compass to figure out if it is stuck. Perception, planning, and execution in only #42 lines of code. 🙈
Sign up for the @kerncue TechFest! I'll be sharing my experience with hands-on STEM @lccms both in-class and at-home distance style. https://t.co/mqoraGs1Zl
@Geetesh@tonyramos@powerpoint@Microsoft365 Wow, the ability to now link to a particular slide means that a student diorama or science fair posterboard project can now link directly to specific content using @themakerbit Media Linker! Been waiting 5 years to be able to do this, and now it's possible!
Providing supplies for distance-learning students at @lcccsma, including the @themakerbit At-Home CS & STEM kits! This will be truly a first-ever program in hands-on physical computing and #computerscience.
Got my MakerBit At-Home Exploration Kit today! Looks super cool. Very excited for my 7th grader to get hands on with each project. @rogerwagner Do you recommend he do this on his own or with a partner? @TheMakerBit
