These people still hounding me for saying ‘hooray’ when our kids got their A level results - I SAID ONE WORD.
You all can take a running jump.
And why shouldn’t I be happy our kids did well?
Take a long look in the mirror.
A council litter officer doing his job gets racial abuse screamed at him, squared up to, and smashed over the head with a wooden pole—and the offenders walk away with suspended sentences. If you want to know why law-abiding people have completely lost faith in the justice system, look no further. Absolutely lawless.
Absolutely appalled to read that @PatrickChristys and @CarverEmily were forced to flee their home after police warned of death threats from human traffickers.
He’s a fearless journalist and has done more to expose the people smuggling gangs in Calais than the entire government.
Until last week, men over 50 were entitled to a free PSA prostate cancer check. But the government has now decided to withdraw that right. I cannot for the life of me work out what their reasoning might be.
O'brien announced live on air that Arday had approached him when he was up against it, but turned him away in his hour of need because he had made him "feel like a mug" following what the media had revealed about him. He said this to protect himself, because he feared his "fans" would have seen him as a mug, especially given his previous in relation to Carl Beech.
He didn't label the media as racist, or driving Arday to the brink, no, he used them to justify being taken in by him to start with. Because only a racist would have questioned his credentials from the off, but thanks to the media reporting the facts, it was only then that he realised the error of his ways.
It's time these narcissists posing as paragons of virtue accepted some responsibility for their actions. The media will do what it always does, regardless of a person's skin colour, but when people you believe are personal friends, snub you when you are at rock bottom, that's what hurts and that's what pushes you over the edge.
This is a lame attempt by him to rewrite very recent history, and looking at his replies, I see his "fans" are buying it. Absolute suckers.
Jason Arday’s death is tragic. But please spare us the sanctimonious complaints that he was merely an ‘obscure’ academic who was the victim of a racist witch-hunt. The probing and questioning and exposure were entirely legitimate.
Arday was plainly guilty of plagiarism. He had also made a series of fantastical claims about his life and career. He ended up being appointed as a professor at one of the world’s most august seats of learning – where his students, who had worked extremely hard to get there, were paying large fees for the privilege of being taught by him.
Far from being obscure, Arday had happily engaged with the media over many years, often repeating his false claims. He appeared on numerous TV shows and guest edited Radio 4’s flagship Today programme. He even carried the Olympic torch.
Moreover, he had secured a major publishing deal for his autobiography, which was set to be released in Britain and the US just as the scandal broke. By no measure was this man ‘obscure’.
When a fellow academic in Plymouth began to question his credentials, Arday (or someone close to him) made a complaint to the police. When a journalist from Times Higher Education started investigating, he was subjected to a police inquiry and also received a threatening letter from the leading libel solicitors, Carter Ruck.
Arday and those around him were clearly not averse to hounding others when they felt like it.
It’s very possible that Arday did not have sufficient support measures in place when he was finally exposed – but that’s on others. The investigation and questions amounted to legitimate journalistic inquiry.
This was never just about Arday’s fabulism. It was also about the increasingly controversial philosophy of DEI, the obsession of our political, corporate and educational institutions with pushing that philosophy, and how it might have led to someone with Arday’s subpar credentials being appointed in the first place.
These are all valid questions to ask – and, by asking them, journalists are simply doing their jobs.
Let's check in on how the left's "no hounding" is going and...oh, apparently I "should have to look over my shoulder for the rest of my worthless life".
I’ve not seen one person respond in delight to Jason Arday taking his own life. Everyone seems very sad, because it is sad.
But when people like Charlie Kirk and Anne Widdicombe are brutally murdered for having different thoughts, parts of the left go into gleeful celebration.
If it’s not apparent, the left is increasing unmoored from any moral grounding.
And so it continues.. James O'Brien has realised that this opportunistic & callous post 👇 he made last night about the tragic death of Jason Arday was awful timing
So OB has scampered back on to Bluesky this morning & deleted it
We're keeping the receipts, James🧐

Genitalia doesn't determine gender. That's a cis normative fallacy. My trans-affirming doctor told me I can think of my genitalia as 9 inches of clitoris.
