VERDICT in #jamescraig trial: Guilty of murder in the first degree, two counts of solicitation to commit tampering with physical evidence, two counts of solicitation to commit perjury in the first degree, and one count of solicitation of first-degree murder.

Jurors have reached a verdict in the murder trial for James Craig, a former Aurora dentist accused of poisoning and killing his wife, Angela, in 2023.

The jury found Craig not guilty of one additional count of manslaughter - cause or aid suicide. Prosecutors maintained Craig's wife did not kill herself, despite his assertions that she was suicidal.

Developing: Jury may be close to verdict. they just asked to see the transcripts from the inmate #JamesCraig is accused of asking to put a hit on 4 people including the lead detective. This is the 6th and final count. They were denied and must use memory/notes.Very tense here.

James Craig will NOT take the stand in his own murder trial.

After calling nearly 50 witnesses over 10 days of testimony, prosecutors making their case against Craig for the poisoning of his wife have rested. Defense also rested, calling no witnesses.
