It's been amazing to see the community rally around Kowakujō and its Main Quest over the past few days. The team is incredibly proud of this map, and proud of the members of this community who participate in every hunt with passion and integrity.

After a race that lasted nearly 60 hours, we were beyond disappointed to see a significant portion of the quest spoiled by bad actors and the people who amplified them.

There are still more secrets to discover, and we'll do everything possible to protect the experience for next season's finale. Try to stay spoiler-free out there. ♥️

The Kowakujo Easter Egg Hunt regardless of how ended and how many people had access to the code/steps/cheated doesn't change one huge aspect... let's not let negativity over shadows something so special that has happened over the past 3 days!... In a time of uncertainty in regards to our community's future going forward with no sign of Zombies content for the next 2 years+ except from our final BO7 DLC WE ALL came together... WE made it feel like the Easter Egg Hunts of Old... The past 3 days have felt special! Our community was ALIVE and Treyarch made that happen!

Even with the Easter Egg being cheated, Kowakujo has been hands down the most enjoyable Zombies DLC drop in the past two years.

We got a canon Zombies moment with the EE hunt, Wonder Weapon NOBODY expected, GOOD side easter eggs and an S+ atmosphere.

In my opinion, without the MASSIVE mistake of leaving the Directed Mode in the files.
This easter egg would've taken us longer than Revelations.
The file literally states, "Throw Decoy Grenades at window shutters to lure out the Noble"

Without that being available to people with the means, the egg would've lasted AGES.
Even those who did access it couldn't solve that step for like 30 hours...

Kowakujo is dedicated to Tom Kane. For this EE out of all of zombies history to be cheated is actually a disgrace.
