Both of us have personal accounts, credit cards etc, but all wages go into the joint account account. I then run multiple budgets to pay for all the household elements (shopping, clothing, holidays etc), each month I allocate money to the budgets, so we save then spend! As we have an offset mortgage, this method saves a huge amount in interest!
