@calvinfroedge if you ask me, iran’s signing of the mou was done to add legitimacy to their actions (showing that they’re being reasonable), but it included the explicit requirement of israel leaving lebanon (which they haven’t). what do they do if israel refuses to comply?
@holeyprofit what are your thoughts on the idea that we perhaps make that break up towards 6100, then a larger pullback begins? it’s personally what i’m looking for, but only one of the possibilities
@AlexDemolitor hear me out… what if we’re in scenario 2, but it began late last year? rates stayed elevated through Q4 2024 and Q1 2025, after trending down into September 2024. now, economic data is starting to look bad.
@VolumeLeaders my biased interpretation would be a rotation out of junk debt and into treasuries. IF we’re going down further, conventional wisdom would say junk debt drops, treasuries rise. both classes are shown here. but who knows
@leadlagreport i have a friend that does similar research, essentially studying the effects of hormones on disease outcomes. presumably, the dog team has found funding for research in that same vein and cut it, because they have teeny tiny brains incapable of coherent thought
