@KrisKalhs@AlexanderGlista There's a bike parking room at the western entrance to the station, along with some posts at both the western and eastern entrances.
@RM_Transit@EricDLombardi The sort of places that are best equipped to car-light lifestyles now and could accommodate far more people if the housing was built, instead of pushing people out to more carcentric areas and then getting irate those people want to drive.
@RM_Transit@EricDLombardi And I don't particularly support removing the bike lanes (we should be massively upzoning around them), but when the neighbourhoods that use them the most are mostly losing population, I just feel zero sympathy.
@RM_Transit@EricDLombardi It's a fallacy that keeps getting shared because it sounds convincing, but if it were true, there should be plenty of data to show that travel times don't change where parking is replaced with bike lanes.
@RM_Transit@EricDLombardi *Hypothetically higher capacity, but until the city reckons with barriers to cycling that aren't infrastructure, it'll stay that way.
@EricDLombardi@RM_Transit Parked cars don't make me wait for someone 5 cars ahead because they have to take longer tuning right.
Bike lanes also don't go away in rush hour like parking.
@Boenau I just don't care about people in neighbourhoods I can't afford to live in having a more convenient option than the transit they want me taking, especially when they already have better transit too.
@Mike_M_Klotz@horsepower I'll just leave these here (and note that the price bump for the 2500 would put it closer to $55k, and that a new 2500 Big Horn CCSB 4WD is $58k, and that inflation is a bunch because truck buyers have gotten soft).
@DexcoolDrinker@Zumb_Zumb I used to do it with AutoTrader, the other main company in the GTA is AutoVerify (if you've ever seen CarPics 2.0 in dealer listings), although both seem to only have part-time/contract now.

@jcorriv35 This is some of my smugness as a temporarily embarrassed motorcyclist, I have a little letter on my license that says I've passed a marginally more engaged road test than normal.
@CrazyWeeMonkey@canadian_rust Well huh, it's been so long since I've watched that one, starting to conflate things. I will say, the beat 250k kms ones I drove 20 years ago didn't feel *that* slow around town, which seems to match MW's comment that it was normal slow to 55 and glacial after.
@canadian_rust@CrazyWeeMonkey That was the diesel, and I believe it wasn't running right. Normal Chevettes were more normal 55mph Era penalty box.
