@Dan_Adams86 "O’Brien said she had been talking to Goldberg about economic empowerment and ways of closing the wealth gap for communities of color, and Goldberg suggested she consider applying for the Cannabis Control Commission position as a way to advance those issues in a concrete way." 😡
@shaleentitle@MA_Cannabis "O’Brien said she had been talking to Goldberg about economic empowerment and ways of closing the wealth gap for communities of color, and Goldberg suggested she consider applying for the Cannabis Control Commission position as a way to advance those issues in a concrete way." 🤬
“We are thrilled beyond belief,” said David O’Brien, president of the Massachusetts Cannabis Business Association. “Municipalities are now going to have to take their grubby hands out of our pockets and treat cannabis like the legal business it is.”
@KevinSabet@Newsweek You do what you do because your unnamed financial backers pay you handsomely to sew your own disinformation campaign. You've already lost the War on Drugs and apparently, you just can't deal with it. Keep tilting at windmills, you're someone's "hero!" 🤣
@KevinSabet Your slow-motion train wreck of an anti-cannabis crusade is so delightful to watch from afar. You've already lost and history will judge you harshly for peddling propaganda and your nonsensical pearl-clutching hysteria over a plant. If you don't like weed, don't smoke it.
@shaleentitle Where’s the “I’m so jealous it hurts” emoji when you need it!?!? You totally deserve that feeling after all you’ve done for Massachusetts cannabis!
@GlobeOpinion Just curious as to why you didn’t mention me by name? “They called these payments ‘charity.’ But, as a local lawyer told WGBH: ‘It’s extortion, straight up. . . . If it is charity, it should not be present in a legally binding contract.’”
Incredibly useful information on municipal treatment of cannabis from @MA_Cannabis! You can’t start a business in a town that doesn’t want you, so check here first and save yourself some heavy lifting, believe me, there’s plenty of that in the process.
Today, @MA_Cannabis launched a new webpage to help license applicants, cities and towns, and the public identify the status of adult-use cannabis and related zoning policies across the Commonwealth’s 351 cities and towns. Check it out here: https://t.co/hlapfBJ5cw
@TomVega42@learnaboutsam@CBSNews@NBCNewsHealth@NPR@politico It wasn’t the town that replaced the martial arts studio, it was the landowner. We voted for Q4 as a state and then each municipality voted to allow or ban cannabis. That’s pure democracy! Your side lost and will continue to lose because you rely on falsehoods to make your point.
@AlexBerenson I’d bet anything that @shaleentitle would eviscerate you in a debate on cannabis law and policy. You’d never step up to the challenge though would you, @AlexBerenson?

@ActBrookline@michaellatulip Okie dokie artichokie. If those are your priorities, your snarkiness and charges of being motivated by greed make little sense to me. Although, I suppose that's what this medium invites and encourages.
Huge Massachusetts cannabis news! My client was granted a precedent-setting HCA WITHOUT a designated location. If other municipalities follow suit, it will allow folks to avoid months of rental payments and will… https://t.co/UroxIz9ITk
