I sometimes meet Christians who say that they are angry at God.

But I don’t think I’ve ever met a Christian who says that he or she is angry at Jesus.

How can we become angry at God when we look at the cross, how much it cost God to show his love to us?

J.R.R. Tolkien, author of The Lord of the Rings, died on this day 51 years ago.

I can’t overstate the comfort Tolkien’s works gave me when I was growing up atheist in a secular country.
