In view of the various queries raised by many members in the community about Metapolis and what caused matters to reach this unfortunate current state of affairs, our team has conducted an extensive investigation to understand the factors leading to this collapse. We have meticulously reviewed hundreds of emails and other documents.
The findings of our investigation give us serious cause for concern, so much so that we feel compelled to escalate the matter to the relevant authorities who have the means to take appropriate actions necessary to protect the community.
WRT our brand/company, our refusal to relinquish majority ownership and the brand is testament to our commitment to not allowing our product to be used for purposes which raise legitimate and genuine concerns that would not only affect our reputation within the community but also potentially lead to harm befalling members within the community.
Our dedicated team is currently working hard to compile comprehensive documentation of all findings, including email analysis and pre-event circumstances, to present to regulatory authorities across various jurisdictions.
We will continue to update our community as may be appropriate.
What went wrong 2/n - Statements around Metapolis/Chand necessitate a deeper examination. Amid allegations of mismanagement and questionable quality, the intent behind seeking control of an apparently struggling brand/company raises questions.
Is this planned from the beginning? a repeat of past actions? or a cover-up of old patterns?
We are committed to restoring the truth about Metapolis. Analyzing past events (spanning the last few years) to prevent recurrence will provide better insights. Establishing facts does take some time, but it's crucial for transparency and understanding.
Observing these statements, one might notice certain peculiarities that merit further professional consideration:
* Nov/Dec 2021 - August 2023 (close to 2 years) - Co-Founder/ Chair/ CXO.
* September 2023 AMA session - Public statement- Partnered with a third party company
* Same AMA - Not a company, a brand
* Recently, by a spokesperson on X(formerly twitter) - We appointed 2 persons as CEO and COO.
* Latest statement - We invested in the company, but parted ways.
Numerous inquiries arise; a couple of them for consideration-
a) Why would one misrepresent the creation of a new entity as a "rebrand" to the community and international media.
b) For a third party company - can one represent and manage affairs of a third party company as a Co-founder / Chair or Co-founder/ CXO for years? The long-term position of an individual as a Co-founder/Chair /CXO in a company leads to inquiries about their impact on strategic choices and the potential for exerting undue influence.
c) In a scenario where one has been actively representing as Co-founder/ Chair or Co-founder/ CXO from the very beginning, how can one shift the responsibility for potential failures to others after years of working closely? Is it possible that this strategy was intentionally devised from the start to frame/shift blame onto others?
More updates as we unravel this complex situation.
The Metapolis team has recently recommenced engaging with the community to provide clarity on past events relating the large token dump before the VIP only event. Over the last two years, the company and its founders, Mr. Mohan Kuldeep Ponnada and Mr. Rama Krishna Kattekola, have been subject to allegations which they have consistently refuted. These allegations, which revolved around a token dump incident prior to a VIP event, have been a source of professional and personal challenges for the founders and the company.
Recently, a statement from Zilliqa has contributed to a better understanding of the situation, effectively clearing Chand founders and affirming that Metapolis/Chand Innovation Labs, and its founders were not involved in any token dumping or market manipulation activities. It appears that the project was unfortunately exploited by certain persons, and this ended up casting Metapolis and its founders in an unjust light. This development is vital for the community to grasp the full scope and impact of these actions.
Understanding the complexities of this case is crucial, especially considering attempts by some parties to gain control of the brand and company, which had significant implications. The Metapolis team is committed to bringing to light the complete details surrounding these events. This effort is not only about setting the record straight but also about restoring the reputations of Metapolis, Chand, and their founders, Mr. Mohan and Mr. Rama.
Determined to provide transparency (following the numerous questions posed by the community), the team is preparing to share key information concerning the period leading up to and following the VIP event. This will include insights into the tactics used by those involved, offering a comprehensive perspective on the situation.
We will periodically disclose key details from the months before and many months after the VIP close door event. Prepare for a revealing account of the manipulative strategies used, which promises to be eye-opening.

The way we see it, the so-called rebranding to Metaminds is a consequence of the acknowledgement that Zilliqa does not have the right to use the Metapolis brand or the product associated with that brand, both of which are with us.
